Cyber-attacks are always prevalent and reaching the news headlines more and more frequently. Bad actors can do a lot of damage to your data and systems. And they're always finding new ways to break in. So, at Forsyths we urge you to be careful and protect yourself online.

For businesses, the ASC has some great tips on how to do that. They're called the Essential Eight and provide a great starting guide to improving security. They cover things up like updating software, using strong passwords, and backing up your data.

But don't forget to watch out for phishing, ransomware, social engineering. These are the tricks that bad actors use to get your information or devices. If in doubt, don't click! And call the sender by finding contact details from their website, do not trust any details on suspicious emails.
